Historic Acropolis Rally makes a strong comeback in the European Historic Rally Car (EHRC) Championship. With the deadline to enter the last rally of the year having expired, the Organizing Committee is pleased to announce that despite the fact that titles of all the categories of the European championship have been decided, several foreign crews will travel in on 3-5 November to Greece, in order to take part in the most emblematic rally of the FIA championship. At the same time, all the protagonists of the Greek Historic Rally Championship will be present, as Historic Acropolis Rally counts for the championship with coefficient 3. For the Greek crews who did not meet the deadline of the international rally, there is a second chance, as they can register till Friday, October 27, by completing the form available on the official website of the event (https://historicacropolis.gr/sporting/forms-for-sporting/).
The number of entries of the Historic Acropolis Rally has exceeded all expectations. The adventurous event has attracted many crews, who cannot wait to start the battle against the clock in famous Acropolis Rally Special Stages.
The final list will be announced on the official website of the rally (www.historicacropolis.gr), as well as on the Virtual Notice Board (Sportity: 2023historicSPO) on Friday the 27th of October. It is noted that entries for both Regularity and Legends categories will be open till Friday, October 27 at 11:59 p.m.
Regarding the programme of the event, on Friday November 3, at 11:00 crews will start from the Acropolis and will compete in 4 Special Stages, one of which will take place under the floodlights. Then, after a 45-minute service, they will spend the night in Itea. On Saturday, November 4, the rally includes 5 Special Stages that will be held during the day and one at night. Sunday 5 November is the shortest day, as the crews will compete in 4 Special Stages with a total length of 44 competitive kilometers. Elefsina, the Cultural Capital for 2023 will host the Finish of the event. Please note that the Awards Ceremony of the European Historic Rally Car Championship will take place in Elefsina.
