News & Articles Historic Acropolis Rally 2023 Let the rally begin!

In the region of Schisto, the facilities of Seajets-Promare hosted the Administrative Checks and Technical Control of the Historic Rally Acropolis on Thursday, November 2. The rally made a comeback after many years of absence on the international stage and is the final round of the European Historic Car Rally Championship.

A total of 44 crews will start in the Sporting Category, in a rally that also counts for the Greek Historic Rally Championship with coefficient 3, as well as the corresponding Dirt Cup. Three of them will start only in the national race, according to the decision of the stewards.

The program for Friday, November 3rd includes the Ceremonial Start, at the Acropolis, and then competitors will run on the 4 Special Stages of the rally. At 12:18 the first Special Stage of the rally will start at Skourta (13.02 km) and then crews will go to Thiva (14.53 km) at 13:21 and Elikonas (8.06 km) at 14:44. The crews will then contest in the night Special Stage, Bauxites (8.48 km) at 19:28.

On the side of the organization are the Municipality of Elefsina, Elefsina, the European Capital of Culture for 2023, Superfast Ferries, SP Tableware, Seajets and Cosmote TV.
