News & Articles 3. Acropolis Rally Legends 2024: Just Before the Battle!

On the afternoon of Thursday, November 7, the Administrative checks and Scrutineering for the Historic Acropolis Rally Legends took place at the Peace and Friendship Stadium.  The event offers competitors with more modern cars the chance to experience the Historic Acropolis Rally. The rally is open to Category A and N cars with an FIA Recognition Certificate issued between January 1, 1991, and December 31, 2001, and marks the fourth round of the Legends Cup established by OMAE, with an increased coefficient of 3.

This year, 11 crews will start the rally at 12:00 on Friday, November 8. The participants will begin their journey beneath the Sacred Rock of the Acropolis before heading to the Athens Olympic Sports Complex for an overnight stay. The rally kicks off on Saturday morning, with 6 special stages leading the crews to Itea, where they’ll equip their cars with spotlight fixtures for the famous night-time run through “Karoutes.” On Sunday, the program includes five more Special Stages, culminating with a finish in Itea that same afternoon.

The rally sponsor, SEAJETS, operates the world’s largest fleet of high-speed vessels, serving 50 ports and offering over 400 connections from Piraeus, Rafina, Lavrio, Crete, Thessaloniki, and Volos to destinations in the Cyclades and the Aegean.
